An important role for the Counsellor is to maintain the important liaison with the District Youth Exchange Committee.

Additionally the Counsellor must be familiar with and comply with the D9970 RYE programme policy and procedures manual, especially the District Abuse and Harassment Prevention Policies. As part of this requirement all counsellors must attend the counsellor and host family training session organized by the District RYE committee. As counsellor you will be required to complete:

1.      Youth Volunteer Declaration

2.      Consent for Police Vetting, and

3.      Attend D9970 Host Family and Counsellor Training

The documentation for you as a counsellor is contained in many documents.  The first part is the Counsellor Information Pack and continues with: Change of address notification
