Selection 2012 (departure 2013)

The next selection is in Hanmer Springs on May Saturday 12th at 11 a.m. (time may change to 9:45 a.m.)

Where:
Hanmer Springs Forest Camp, 3km's up Jollies Pass Road, Hanmer Springs

When:
Saturday May 12th 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or finished)

Programme:
The programme is general introduction to Rotary, the Youth Exchange Programme, Introductions, Interviews, Speeches etc.

Who can attend?:
We like to see as many of your family as possible so that your family understand what is involved in this two year process.

What is the cost:
Selected students are charged $600 to progress through to full application & orientations. This fee covers the costs involved in the following three orientations (see calendar for dates) for the applicants. Cost of transport, accommodation and food for family members is additional at these orientations. $200 of the fee secures your air travel deposit.
Payment is due to Account: Rotary District 9970 06 0831 0158095 000 with your surname as reference please by the end of May.

What do I need to bring?
If you have a passport, please bring it and a copy for us.
You will need to present a short speech, the topic will be given to you on the day.

When will I know the result?
Normally, the decision is made within 24 hours. This can be delayed if a second selection meeting is needed.

Accommodation:
There is no allowance for accommodation in Hanmer Springs. Own cost if needed.

Acceptance of our rules and conditions:
There is discussion of some of the rules and conditions that we operate the programme under. You must be prepared to accept these rules if you wish to participate in the Programme.
